Ashfield Medical Centre are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and experienced Practice Nurse to join their lively and friendly nursing team. Ideally we would like someone who has experience in chronic diseases, has a great sense of humour (to go with the rest of the team!) and is happy working both within a team or autonomously. Ideally we are looking for someone full time, Monday to Friday, but are also open to discussing this. Excellent remuneration for the right candidate.

We are part of a larger Primary Care Network alongside 3 other practices and enjoy the interaction and joint working this has provided. We are a proactive and forward thinking practice and like to encourage our staff to push themselves to develop both professionally and personally. Main duties
Skills required for the role are being proficient in, or willing to train in, Diabetes, COPD & Asthma. We would like someone who is experienced in doing Smears and general practice nursing, including all types of dressings plus the willingness to get stuck in and involved with the rest of the team. Full clinical support is provided.

Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse

* Prescribing Qualification
