Area Sales Manager - Northern Region\n£45k + Bonus | Company Car | Leading International Lighting Brand\n\nOur client, a global leader in LED lighting solutions, is looking for a motivated and commercially astute Area Sales Manager to join their Northern Region team. This is a field-based position covering Derby, Leicester, Rutland, and Nottingham, managing a portfolio of wholesale accounts and driving new business opportunities with contractors.\n\nThe business operates under a well-established and trusted brand within the electrical wholesale market and is known for delivering high-performance lighting solutions backed by excellent customer service.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage and grow an existing customer base of electrical wholesalers\n\nDevelop strong relationships with branch managers, buyers, and trade counters\n\nIdentify and convert new project opportunities, maintaining a healthy pipeline\n\nDeliver product training and demonstrations to support specification and sales\n\nCollaborate with contractors to enhance brand visibility and preference\n\nTrack and report monthly performance, identifying key variances and opportunities\n\nRepresent the brand at trade shows and industry events\n\nContribute to divisional sales meetings with updates, insights, and ideas\n\nThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in account-based sales, preferably selling to or working within electrical wholesale. Lighting sector knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.\n\nPackage Includes:\n£45,000 basic (depending on experience) + bonus, company car, laptop, mobile, company credit card, healthcare, pension, 22 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service), and more
