We’re currently recruiting for a Scientific Assistant to the Process Development team. In this role, you will provide essential laboratory activities and services to the team, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
1. Preparing equipment for processing, including bioreactors, pH/DO probes, incubators, purification systems.
2. Receiving deliveries, restocking & stock checking of consumables.
3. Carrying out in-house preparation of tubing and connectors for processing.
4. Cleaning and maintaininglaboratory equipment and facilities.
5. Raising engineering requests and chaperoneengineers whilst in the Laboratories.
6. Cell seeding and cell count activitiesfor analytical assays.
7. Assisting in maintaining the health and safety compliance as applicable.
We are looking for:
8. Educated to a minimum of GCSE or equivalent.
9. A genuine interest and drive to work in science.
10. The ability to think rationally and problem solve.
11. Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
12. Highly organised and motivated with excellent attention to detail.
13. Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel & Outlook.
