This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who require additional help with their learning, communication, and personal development. As a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide tailored support in a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Duties of SEN TA: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs. Assist in delivering personalised learning activities suited to individual needs. Support pupils with communication, social, emotional, and behavioural development. Work alongside teachers to implement EHCPs and support strategies. Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and engagement in learning. Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff. Essential Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN. Understanding of needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties. Patient, caring, and adaptable approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
