We are Rolls-Royce SMR and we’re recruiting for a Quality Professional to be involved in safety and regulatory compliance for game-changing technology within the nuclear industry. This is a career opportunity with Rolls-Royce SMR to shape and lead quality assurance arrangements, processes and systems to meet nuclear design code and regulatory requirements, best practices and quality excellence.
Job Purpose
For the right individual, join the Rolls-Royce SMR Quality Team as a Quality Professional – Assurance Programme. You will help shape and manage the development and deployment of the SMR quality assurance arrangements, processes and systems to meet design code and regulatory requirements and quality excellence.
Responsibilities & Competency
* Interpreting stakeholder and design code requirements and ensuring the appropriate and effective quality programme and design code processes and governance are applied.
* Support the development and management of the quality assurance programme, quality manuals, implementation plans and key performance measures to meet design code and regulatory requirements to support the Rolls-Royce SMR strategic intent.
* Build strong relationships with functions, internal and external stakeholders including regulators and industry bodies.
* Provide support to the Rolls-Royce SMR certification programme and external nuclear regulatory assessments and reviews.
* Experience in control, management and documentation reviews with an eye for detail and accuracy.
* Development of processes, procedures and facilitating process mapping and problem-solving activities and workshops.
* IT skills covering Access, Excel, Word and Outlook.

Pay and Benefits
* Salary between £40,000 & £52,500
* Bonus - Performance related bonus of up to 12.5%
* Benefits Allowance – £2,200
* Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions
* Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) with buy/sell of up to 4 days
* Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover
* £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
