We are a professional chocolate manufacturing business, currently in the growth phase of our brand journey, and are looking to expand our sales team by introducing a new Customer Account Manager to help drive our revenue growth.
This role focuses on increasing the distribution of our products by actively managing existing customer accounts and prospecting for new opportunities within specific channels and routes to market.
For this role, you will need at least 2-3 years of experience working within a B2B sales, commercial, or B2B team. Experience within the FMCG or confectionery sector is desirable but not essential. You should be fearless, resilient, focused, and have a strong 'can do' attitude. Attention to detail is crucial, both for developing your existing customer base through strategic plans and building your prospect pipeline to win new business.
Understanding and anticipating customer needs is vital. You will translate this insight into sound business plans to drive growth, demonstrating good listening and questioning skills to uncover hidden needs. You should be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience, well-organized, numerate, and capable of building commercial business proposals considering core P&L elements.
This role is based in our Norwich office, with travel required to meet customers or attend trade shows as needed.
