Job Title: Regional Sales Manager specialising in Vacuum Technology

Location: Roxton, Bedfordshire (role can be based anywhere in the UK with regular nationwide travel)

Position and salary: Permanent, Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm, 40 hours per week Salary 40k-£55k per annum (dependent on experience) + car allowance/company car + sales commission structure + benefits.

RSP UK Suction Excavators Limited are specialists in suction and vacuum technology, providing advanced solutions across the whole of the UK. Our suction technology is designed to safely expose buried infrastructure, services, and cables without causing damage, while our vacuum technology excels in handling dry materials, liquids, and sludge removal. Serving industries including construction, utilities, waste management, and environmental services, we are committed to delivering high-performance equipment supported by exceptional customer service.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager with specialist knowledge of suction and vacuum technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business, and managing key customer accounts. This role requires both a strategic approach to market development and hands‑on involvement with clients, including product demonstrations and technical discussions.

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across construction, utilities, infrastructure, waste management, environmental services, and related sectors.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Conduct product demonstrations to prospective customers.
* Prepare tailored proposals and negotiate with customers to secure business.

Customer Relationship Management:

* Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing and potential customers.
* Provide excellent customer support throughout the sales process and aftercare.
* Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and follow‑ups to ensure continued customer engagement and retention.

Market & Industry Analysis:

* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments across infrastructure, maintenance, waste management, and environmental services.
* Identify and report on new opportunities highlighting potential areas for growth.
* Report regularly to senior management on pipeline status and market intelligence.

Collaboration and Reporting:

* Work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure seamless delivery of equipment.
* Collaborate with marketing to support promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and events.
* Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using Salesforce.
* Provide regular reports on forecasts and customer feedback.

Product Knowledge:

* Develop an in-depth understanding of our suction and vacuum technology, its applications, and competitive advantages.
* Keep up to date with relevant regulations, industry standards, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications Skills and Attributes Required Essential:

* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Proven track record in a sales role within suction or vacuum technology, or heavy machinery.
* Strong knowledge of sales processes, negotiation, and closing techniques.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build and manage relationships with a diverse client base.
* Highly self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to work independently.
* Competent with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
* Proven experience in B2B sales and account management, including developing long‑term partnerships, managing key accounts, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.
* Knowledge of suction or vacuum technologies.
* Additional certifications in sales, business development, or technical training.
