The post holder will play a vital role in supporting the Cardiac Rehabilitation service through accurate and timely data entry into the National Audit of Cardiac Rehabilitation (NACR). This information is essential for ensuring the service meets national reporting standards, monitors outcomes effectively, and provides assurance to commissioners and regulators. Key responsibilities include: Inputting patient data into the NACR database promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with local and national deadlines. Supporting the quality of data collection by carrying out regular validation, audits, and cross-checks to maintain accuracy and consistency. Assisting with the preparation of routine and ad-hoc performance and audit reports, contributing to service monitoring and evaluation. Communicating effectively with clinical and administrative colleagues to ensure complete and up-to-date information is captured. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information in accordance with Trust policies and GDPR regulations. Undertaking general administrative tasks that support the smooth running of the Cardiac Rehabilitation service. Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and escalating any issues in data quality or processes. Participating in relevant training and development opportunities to maintain skills and knowledge.
