The Blind Shop is an online supplier of made to measure blinds for domestic and commercial properties. We are a small, ambitious company that is thriving.
We are looking for an experienced sales person to look after all aspects of sales from our bright, modern office overlooking Shoreham Port in Southwick, near Brighton.
You must have previous experience in the window blinds industry.
The role involves:
* answering sales enquiries by phone and email
* advising customers on all aspects of the blinds we offer
* advising customers on how to measure their windows
* generating quotes and invoices
* following up on customers to achieve sales
* collating sample packs and sending them out
* picking and packing spare parts orders
The ideal candidate will:
* have experience of the blinds industry
* have a practical mind to understand measurements for windows
* be an organised and professional person with proven history
* have a good telephone manner with fluent English
* have excellent typing and grammar skills
* be experienced with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
* have an interest in interiors
The hours:
* Full time position
* 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
* £29,500 per annum
* sales commission of 1% of sales ex. vat after completing 3 month training/induction period
