The role:
Opportunities have arisen within our Roving Night Support Service. We are looking for Care Workers to support clients in the community across the Accrington, Blackburn, Hyndburn, Burnley, Pendle, and Rossendale areas.
Job responsibilities include:
* Visiting nominated adult clients at times directed by care coordinators and management.
* Providing personal care to clients.
* Providing medication, meals/drinks, repositioning, and domestic support to clients.
* Sharing necessary and appropriate information with supervisors.
* Completing all necessary paperwork.
* Fully complying with company policies, procedures, and approved practices, and promoting the aims of the company.
* Participating in induction training and regular in-service training programs, as directed by managers or supervisors.
* Possessing a full manual driving license and having access to your own vehicle when required; evidence of this will be required.
Key qualities we are looking for include a caring nature, good personal values, and a positive attitude. Experience in the care industry is preferable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Additional requirements:
* A clean driving license & own vehicle required. Use of manual company vehicle may be provided.
* Ability to work as part of a team, especially as visits are conducted in pairs.
Working hours and pattern:
The service operates between 10 pm and 7 am, 7 days a week, on a 4 on 4 off rolling pattern, which is ideal for those needing to work around school hours.
