Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)

Salary: Up to £44,000 (dependent on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to join our supportive, multidisciplinary team at a thriving school based in Dudley. This is a term-time-only position, offering an excellent work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on young people’s lives.
You will work closely with pupils who present with a range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), including those with additional learning needs, ASD, and social communication differences.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose, and deliver tailored speech and language therapy interventions
* Develop and implement individual therapy plans in line with EHCP outcomes
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, support staff, and families
* Provide training and guidance to school staff to support communication-friendly classrooms
* Monitor and review pupil progress, maintaining accurate clinical records
* Contribute to annual reviews and multidisciplinary meetings
About You
* Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent)
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) (desirable)
* Experience working with children and young people, ideally within an educational setting
* Strong understanding of EHCP processes
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
