Pay Level: 6 Market Supplement | Slough location | Full-time permanent role Join our Digital Team as we revolutionise how 150,000 Slough residents access council services. You'll be the technical architect behind user-friendly digital solutions that streamline workflows, reduce costs, and genuinely improve people's lives. What you'll be doing: Build accessible digital services using Jadu XFP and low-code platforms that meet GDPR and WCAG standards Design user-centered forms and workflows through collaborative working with service teams to create seamless resident journeys Create powerful integrations connecting back-office systems via APIs and webhooks to automate processes and reduce manual work Lead user testing and research to identify issues and continuously improve digital services based on real user feedback Champion digital innovation by staying current with sector developments and implementing cost-effective solutions Mentor and coach junior team members while working on digital transformation projects that migrate legacy systems Monitor and maintain cloud and on-premises systems, ensuring optimal performance and resolving technical issues What you'll have: 3 years ICT/Digital experience in similar-scale organisations with a track record of delivering results Proven hands-on experience building, testing, and publishing web forms within Case Management Software like Jadu or Arcus Strong programming and configuration skills using a range of tools to deliver organizational outcomes User testing expertise - you know how to conduct research, identify digital journey issues, and remedy them cost-effectively Collaborative problem-solving approach with skills in analysing complex issues and working with diverse teams Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in coding, design standards, or relevant technical discipline Understanding of SEO, web analytics and best practices for user journey development Awareness of the UK Digital landscape including GDS standards and local government digital transformation What we offer: We offer a supportive place to grow and develop your career with a real opportunity for your input to be valued and heard. Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached. The payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by your Director. Alongside a competitive salary, we provide: 26 days annual leave (not including Bank holidays), rising to 30 days between 2 - 5 years’ service and 33 days after 5 years’ service.
