HLTA – Primary School (Hayes)
Location: Hayes, Greater London
Pay: £110–£160 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Start Date: ASAP
Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ready to take on more responsibility in a thriving primary school?
We’re looking for a confident, proactive HLTA to support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in a welcoming Hayes primary school.
Role Overview:
1. Deliver small group and whole-class lessons in line with teacher planning
2. Support targeted interventions and pupil progress
3. Work closely with class teachers and senior leaders to raise attainment
4. Provide cover in the absence of teachers
5. Foster a positive, engaging learning environment
Requirements:
6. HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
7. Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
8. Experience working across primary year groups
9. Available full-time and ready to start immediately
