Reporting To: Management Accountant Purpose: Responsible for ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed, supporting reporting activities and maintaining transparency and compliance within the companys financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Purchase payments ensuring supplies are paid correctly and on time Reconciling supplier statements, inputting and allocating payment Financial Record Maintenance process, verify and maintain accurate entries with maintenance of control accounts and lead schedules Banking & Reconciliation conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurate and recorded in financial ledgers Financial Reporting support the preparation of monthly management accounts, year-end financial audits and other statutory filings Payroll assist in the payroll processing VAT assist in the processing of VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales Responding to and following up enquiries using appropriate methods To communicate effectively, liaise and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships Telephone duties Any other work deemed important to the Management Accountant. PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Qualification/ Attainments Good standard of education achievement GCSE/equiv Mathematics Relevant Experience At least 2 years experience gained in office based role Skills and Competencies Methodical administrator Confident telephone manner and ability to deal with suppliers and customers Working experience on accounting software and range of IT packages Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage busy deadlines High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills Desirable Relevant Experience At least 2 years experience gained in an accounts role Skills and Competencies Previous experience using Nav and competent Microsoft Excel usage To Apply, please forward detailed CV and cover letter by clicking in the apply button below.
