Interim Finance Manager - 6-month contract

A private equity-backed business undergoing an exciting phase of growth and operational improvement. Following a recent NetSuite implementation, the finance team is focused on improving data quality, reporting capability, and financial processes to support better decision-making across the organisation.
The Opportunity
This is a broad, hands‑on Finance Manager role working closely with the Group FC and CFO. The position will support core finance operations while also helping improve systems, controls, reporting, and process efficiency.
A key focus will be supporting and embedding NetSuite, ensuring data is accurate, reporting is reliable, and the system is being used effectively across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Group FC and CFO across financial reporting and day‑to‑day finance operations
* Own and improve month‑end processes and management reporting
* Help optimise the use of NetSuite across the finance function
* Improve data quality, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting
* Assist with audit and year‑end processes
* Drive process improvements and finance transformation initiatives
* Partner with operational teams to improve financial visibility and controls
* Support ad hoc finance projects as the business continues to scale
Candidate Profile
* Experience within an SME, PE-backed, or high‑growth environment
* Strong management accounting and financial control experience
* Exposure to ERP implementations or post‑implementation improvement work
* NetSuite experience is essential
* Strong Excel and data handling skills
* Hands‑on, adaptable, and commercially minded
* Process‑driven with strong attention to detail
