The Opportunity
We’re looking for an inspiring Associate Lecturer in Maths to join our talent pool and deliver engaging, high‑quality teaching to ESOL students. This role involves supporting a specified module or modules, including the preparation and delivery of lectures, workshops and practical sessions.
This is a zero‑hours contract with regular working hours to be confirmed at interview. It is a temporary post until the 31st of July 2026.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver scheduled teaching and learning sessions
* Prepare high‑quality learning materials
* Design and mark assessments, alongside moderation duties
* Contribute to curriculum design and continuous quality improvement
* Provide student support and supervise independent study
* Attend programme and team meetings
* Participate in CPD activities to enhance your practice
* Support student monitoring, reporting, course review and evaluation
* Take part in quality assurance processes
As the college evolves, responsibilities may develop in line with our strategic goals.

* Participate in cross‑college projects, working groups and committees
* Prepare and present papers as needed
