Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is looking for a Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to support new business opportunities on the E‑7 Wedgetail aircraft.

Responsibilities
* Work in a team and carry out the execution of contracted R&M work.
* Provide analytical capability to transform information and data, providing insight to support R&M decision making.
* Collaborate with other Engineering disciplines and senior stakeholders to ensure consistency of working methods and activities across all projects.
* Support and review Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Trees Analysis (FTA), failure analysis, and corrective action (FRACAS).
* Coordinate, monitor, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and report the status of R&M activities.
Basic Qualifications & Competencies
* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or an equivalent qualification directly related to the work.
* Ability to obtain UK SC security clearance.
* Clear communicator with a can‑do attitude and a drive to continuously improve the quality of service.
* High level of skill in reliability and availability modelling calculations.
* Understanding of the relationships between R&M and Design, Dependability, Safety, ILS & Asset Management.
* Knowledge and application experience of risk & reliability management systems and techniques.
* Proven ability to drive first‑time quality.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.
Desirable Competences
* Defence background.
* Minimum technical education of HNC/HND or formal training in Support Engineering principles.
Conflict of Interest & Authorization
Successful candidates must satisfy the company's Conflict of Interest assessment process. The position requires the ability to obtain a United Kingdom Security Check. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom.
