What you’ll be doing
As a Graduate Materials Technician imagine your role as being the quality checker for building materials. You’ll test and analyse construction materials like concrete and asphalt. You’ll learn testing techniques, material properties, and quality control processes.
Who we’re looking for
For Graduates with a degree in Geography, Ecology or Earth Sciences, our programme offers formal training and on‑the‑job learning, with a strong focus on career progression and growth opportunities. It’s designed to help you transition into your chosen field and build a successful career path. To be eligible, you must obtain a minimum 2:2 Honours degree before starting the role.
This role involves regular site-based visits, including travel on‑site and between locations. Before joining Balfour Beatty, you must hold a full UK driver’s license.
