An ideal role
for a proactive, technically skilled analyst who is keen to shape the future of analytics within a dynamic and ambitious law firm.
The role:
You'll initially be working in a newly acquired Business of theirs, parachuted in to suss out their systems, see where their data lies, what it shows - build out some reports and provide recommendations – eventually looking at building strategies and help streamline some processes. You'll use SQL and Python to a high level and be familiar with Financial Data. Ideally collections and recoveries data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse performance of UK debt portfolios to identify opportunities for customer engagement optimisation.
* Utilise third-party data to enhance segmentation and targeting strategies.
* Streamline operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Collaborate with colleagues from an affiliated company to understand and develop business processes that support customer engagement.
* Produce high-quality Management Information (MI) reports and dashboards using Power BI.
* Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders.
* Work with Operations to develop and execute data cleansing and enrichment processes to enhance value-added services for third-party clients.
You:
* You'll be Degree Educated in a quant field
* You'll have solid SQL and Python – these are non-negotiables
* Statistical Analysis experience of large data sets
* You'll have 2 years PLUS Analytics experience, ideally in Insight, Risk or ideally in some sort of Collections / Recoveries function
* Ideally – Modelling skills, at least the aspirations to learn Modelling
The interview process
will be simple – an initial phone call with one of the team and then an assessment style interview where you'll undertake a Python test (3 hours) an interview and group presentation all in the same afternoon. Offers are typically made the next day once the data is checked.
You'll need to be able to pass a UK Credit and DBS check.
