The Role
We are seeking a passionate and committed Year 5 Teacher to join one of our supportive and inclusive primary schools from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning and inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform teaching
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
* Uphold and promote the school’s values and safeguarding procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and attainment
* Be reflective, organised, and committed to professional development
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be enthusiastic, flexible, and a team player
