An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Mid Cheshire Hospital Trust Physiotherapy Service for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 7 physiotherapist.
Role Overview
The role will sit within the acute general medical team. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years NHS experience, specifically in inpatient workstream at B6/B7 level. Masters level postgraduate modules in relevant subjects are highly desirable.
Key Requirements
* Excellent leadership skills, with leadership training/experience essential.
* Responsibility for staff rostering, appraisals, and clinical audits.
* Ability to manage a team, mentor junior staff, and manage staff rosters efficiently.
* Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
Service Responsibilities
Part of the 24-hour respiratory on-call service, moving towards a 6-day rostered service, with a future goal of 7-day service.
Act as an advanced clinical specialist for assessment and treatment of medical patients with complex needs, supporting service development and evaluation.
Lead clinician for physiotherapy general medicine services at MCHT, providing expert advice and supporting operational delivery.
Lead clinical audit and research initiatives, and develop clinical practice and outcomes.
Deliver training to healthcare professionals, patients, and carers, and supervise junior staff, including induction and competency training.
