The jobholder is responsible for the technical development, deployment, and management of new or existing customised audit programs and/or unaccredited food certification schemes within Business Assurance. Specific responsibilities include:
* Supporting, developing, and optimizing 2nd party/customised programs aligned with strategic, operational, and financial objectives.
* Acting as lead technical contact and project manager for assigned Global Key Accounts.
* Leading technical development and management of new/existing projects under supervision.
* Collaborating with Global Key Account Managers to deploy international food auditing or customised programs.
* Managing auditor development, training, and calibration for global projects.
* Supporting new requests, RFPs, and program development with International Solution Managers.
* Participating in client meetings, leading technical discussions, and presenting updates and analytics.
* Ensuring service delivery meets client technical requirements.
* Driving improvements of SOPs, processes, and practices globally.
* Utilising SGS IT platforms for solution delivery.
* Engaging stakeholders to identify new opportunities for products and services.
* Providing technical support to SGS affiliates and customers.
* Supporting social media, marketing, and business development initiatives.
* Representing SGS in industry groups and events.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Food industry or related fields.
* Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, or related discipline.
* Thorough understanding of Food safety principles, quality management, and manufacturing processes.
* Experience with food safety codes of practice, allergen management, labelling, and foreign body detection.
* Strong knowledge of food safety and quality certification and auditing systems.
* Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think innovatively.
* Pragmatic with analytical skills.
* Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and deadline management.
* Strong project management and cross-country coordination skills.
* Business acumen and excellent communication skills.
* Fluent in English; proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
