Teacher of Computer Science Hertfordshire (AL8 6YR)
Prospero Teaching is working with an Ofsted rated Good secondary school who are looking to recruit a NQT or experienced Teacher of Computer Science. We are looking for a Teacher of Computer Science who can start in a thriving and supportive school based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
This position is starting January 2026 (or sooner) and is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers. The ideal Teacher of Computer Science will be committed, positive, and a versatile classroom practitioner to join their successful ICT & Computing department.
You will be required to deliver excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 for the right candidate. This is a large, mixed secondary school with modern facilities and a strong reputation for academic progress and innovation in digital learning.

Teacher of Computer Science Experience, Training and Qualifications:
QTS or equivalent
PGCE / SCITT / Teach First trained
Computer Science or IT-related degree
Strong programming and computing curriculum knowledge
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
