Your new role:
You will be joining a well-known and growing manufacturing business who, under a larger group, are looking to expand their sales & design team with the hire of an Applications Engineer!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Working with the sales team with technical requests from customers
* Offering technical solutions to customers at all stages of the design and sales processes.
* Preparing, potentially with the support of other company's functions, the offer (technical configuration, cost estimation, delivery date estimation, etc.).
* Identifying new potential opportunities for the business i.e. turnkey solutions, process sales
* Project management

Experience & Skills needed:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing/engineering environment
* Relevant engineering degree or equivalent
* Ability to work with wider teams from design, shop floor, projects etc.
* Ability to work with and explain technical drawings and specifications
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
