Role: Head of Training
Reports to: Operations Director

We are recruiting a Head of Training for a leading apprenticeship and bootcamp training provider. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing high-performing and growing apprenticeship provision, alongside other government-funded training initiatives.
The successful candidate will be expected to work regularly from our Greater Manchester Training Centre, with visits to St Neots scheduled for next year.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and expand apprenticeship and Skills Bootcamp programs.
2. Manage and support a team of trainers and apprenticeship coaches.
3. Ensure a high-quality learner experience and achieve strong outcomes.
4. Monitor learner progress and manage delivery caseloads using systems like OneFile.
5. Build and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners.
6. Oversee planning, resource scheduling, and recruitment for the delivery team.
7. Prepare learners for End-Point Assessment (EPA).
8. Drive continuous quality improvement with internal QA teams.
9. Monitor achievement and retention rates; implement improvement strategies.
10. Launch and manage new apprenticeship standards.
11. Ensure compliance with awarding body assessment and quality standards.
12. Oversee functional skills delivery (English & Math).
13. Support learners requiring additional learning support.
14. Conduct audits and gather learner feedback to inform improvements.
15. Hold team meetings to share best practices and plan developments.
16. Ensure health and safety compliance across training activities.
