Job Summary
Senior Carer – Residential Care Home (Bank position). Provide person‑centred care and support for residents and lead a team of care staff including training, supervision, and delegation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a team of care staff, providing training and delegation on shift.
* Administer and order medication, review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
* Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and resident family members.
* Provide cover on a bank basis to cover annual leave or sick leave.
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Previous experience in a residential care setting.
* Proven team‑leadership skills and ability to make appropriate decisions.
* Warm‑hearted, compassionate and committed to giving individualised care.
Contract & Working Pattern
Contract: Bank | Working pattern: Flexible
