3D Personnel is working with a well-established groundworks contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple civil engineering and groundworks projects across Dorset and Somerset. This is a senior leadership role offering autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to shape project delivery from pre-construction through to handover. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in groundworks and site management, capable of coordinating teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: * Manage multiple live groundworks projects across Dorset and surrounding areas * Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery * Monitor project programmes and progress * Attend client meetings and progress reviews * Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards * Review and approve RAMS, method statements, and site documentation * Support commercial teams with cost control and forecasting Requirements: * Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in groundworks or civil engineering * Strong leadership and communication skills * Familiarity with project planning tools such as Asta Powerproject is beneficial * Full UK driving licence * SMSTS and relevant construction qualifications preferred What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary: £85,000 – £95,000 * Discretionary annual bonus * Company vehicle and mobile phone * Pension scheme * 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) * Long-term career progression with a growing contractor
