For many people the question about domiciliary care does not arise until there is an urgent need. Finding that we or a loved one suddenly needs a care assistant can catch us by surprise. You may think that we have to make a stark choice between living self-sufficiently, without care, or going into a residential home Benefits: · Availability to work full-time or part-time shifts including evenings, weekends, or public holidays as needed · Paid training and shadowing. · Excellent CPD and IDP support earn bonus pay when referring a friend. · Opportunity to work in a day centre as a care worker or in the community What would we like from you? · Minimum of 6 months to 1-year experience in a care setting (residential, domiciliary, or healthcare environment) · Excellent communication skills. · Genuine desire to help and ability to relate to people · Awareness of safeguarding policies and maintaining confidentiality of service user information · Have patience, sensitivity, and sense of humor · Physically capable of performing care duties, including moving and handling service users.
