Job Description
* Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion.
* Review work prepared by junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
* Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Manage client relationships and address any queries or concerns promptly.
* Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to clients and senior management.
* Support the development and training of junior staff within the team.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and finance legislation and practices.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Audit Team Leader should have:
* Professional qualifications in accounting, such as ACA or ACCA.
* Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and practices.
* Experience in managing audit engagements within the professional services industry.
* Proven ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
