The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Partner with management teams to ensure integration of functions to meet goals and identify system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
2. Resolve high-impact problems/projects through evaluation of complex business and system processes, adhering to industry standards.
3. Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure design aligns with architecture blueprints.
4. Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation based on system flow knowledge.
5. Understand how business areas like architecture and infrastructure integrate to achieve goals.
6. Analyze issues deeply and develop innovative solutions.
7. Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, assigning work appropriately.
8. Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, and managing control issues transparently.
Qualifications:
1. 6-10 years of experience in applications development or systems analysis.
2. Extensive experience in system analysis and software programming.
3. Proven success in managing and implementing projects.
4. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of applications development.
5. Ability to prioritize quickly and effectively.
6. Strong leadership and project management skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
Additional requirements include:
* 5+ years of experience in Python and PySpark.
* Experience with big data systems.
* Knowledge of statistics and finance products.
* Understanding of risk management; knowledge of Market risk is a plus.
