Job Description PSM Recruitment are looking for a Nights Customs Clearance Clerk in Dover. This role will help ensure the smooth and efficient clearance of goods through customs. You will be responsible for managing the import and export processes and ensuring compliance with all customs regulations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and process import/export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures. Classify goods according to tariff coding. Dealing with general enquiries from importers / exporters concerning all areas relating to Customs Procedures i.e Tariff Classifications, Duty Rates and any other documentation requirements. Communicate with clients and provide guidance on import/export regulations and requirements. Ensure timely delivery. Resolve issues and ensure compliance. Track shipments. Maintain records of all transactions and prepare reports for management. Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, laws and procedures. Qualifications: Experience in customs clearance. Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures. Strong organisational and communication skills. Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
