We are looking for a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver to join us at Huws Gray Wrightington!

We rely on our Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver to provide excellent service to our customers, through knowledge of our stock and making sure products are ready for deliveries and collections. Working in one of our branches you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver with Huws Gray:
1. Serving our customers out in the yard, providing a good knowledge of the best products for their projects
2. Supporting with incoming deliveries, making sure stock in the yard is put away correctly and kept tidy in line with Health & Safety guidelines
3. Making deliveries to our local customers as and when needed, ensuring they get their materials on time, every time
4. Working as a team to help our drivers by loading and unloading vehicles
5. Safeguarding against loss and theft of stock by being security conscious
We know that you are more than just a CV and embracing everyone’s individuality is what makes us great as a team. We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that you’ll need to succeed as a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver but you will need a Class 2 Licence. HIAB and Forklift Truck licences would also be beneficial for this role.
