Class 2 Multi Drop Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Oldbury, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
Shifts: Staggered start times between 6am-9am Monday-Friday
Rates of pay: £15.00 per hour

Day-to-day duties:
As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Carrying out multiple deliveries (10 - 15)
* Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
* Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
* Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required
Essential skills:
To be successful as a Class 2 Driver, you will need:
* A valid UK Category C licence
* A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
* A valid UK CPC card and Digi card
* Good spoken and written English
* Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills
* A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Effective communication skills
Desirable experience:
* Previous commercial driving experience
* Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training:
* Driver's assessment must be completed before starting
* A one-day paid induction will follow successful assessment
