Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs and disabilities? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Class Tutor and Pastoral Lead to join a well-established Further Education setting in the heart of Bath.This specialist role focuses on supporting students with autism and learning disabilities within a dedicated provision, while also offering guidance in the wider classroom. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, starting as soon as possible. After an initial 16-week period, the role becomes permanent. Daily pay rates range from £148.22 to £195.43. About the Role This position is about more than teaching — it’s about building trust, supporting wellbeing, and inspiring independence. As Class Tutor and Pastoral Lead, you will: •Deliver engaging and supportive sessions tailored to students with SEND. •Provide consistent pastoral support, ensuring each learner feels valued and safe. •Collaborate with specialist teams and mainstream staff to enable integration and progression. •Encourage personal growth and confidence, preparing students for life beyond education.
