Overview
We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our team as an Associate Professor of Medical Science at Peninsula Medical School in the University of Plymouth. This is a non-clinical academic post within the Peninsula Medical School. We are excited to offer this opportunity to join a well established team of passionate individuals at an exciting time, when we are future focused and reimaging our School to meet the challenges of delivering medicine and health science curricula in the 21st Century. As an academic with a well established track record of working in teaching environments that prepare students for careers in the NHS, you will be prepared to use this experience to take on leadership roles and to teach across our undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes, including Medicine, Diagnostic Radiography, Physician Associate and other Masters level postgraduate taught programmes. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic leader in higher education, able to teach a wide range of science subjects, lead aspects of our programmes, and line manage staff where required. You will also be expected to undertake research and become a part of a collaborative and supportive team actively engaged in a wide range of research and scholarship activity.

Responsibilities
* Teach across our undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes, including Medicine, Diagnostic Radiography, Physician Associate and other Masters level postgraduate taught programmes.
* Lead aspects of our programmes and line manage staff where required.
