Job Description: Teaching Assistant (SEND)
Location: Kingston upon Thames, Greater London, England
Job Type: Full-Time ( Monday - Friday)
Salary: £450 - £480 Per week
Benefits: PAYE
Job Duties:
1. Assist in the implementation of individual education plans for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
2. Support students in their learning activities both in group settings and on a one-to-one basis
3. Provide assistance with personal care needs as required
4. Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
5. Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Required Qualifications:
6. Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
7. Experience working with children or individuals with SEND ( on schools setting or Personal experience)
8. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Education:
Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs is desirable but not mandatory
Knowledge and Skills:
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
11. Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
12. Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
13. First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
14. Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
15. Work within a school environment

17. Reduced Classes ( 7-9 students)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
