We are recruiting for a Stores Assistant / Inventory Operative to join our client at a highly advanced biogas plant near Grantham. This is a flagship renewable energy site, backed by AstraZeneca, offering a modern, clean and professional working environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with stores, warehouse or inventory experience who enjoys accuracy, organisation and supporting engineering teams. THE ROLE As a Stores Assistant / Inventory Operative, you will support the day-to-day running of the stores function, ensuring stock, parts and equipment are available when needed to keep site operations running efficiently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Goods in, checking and receipting deliveries Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels Updating stock, parts and purchase orders via ERP systems Supporting engineering teams with parts and equipment availability Raising purchase orders and chasing suppliers Managing PPE and consumables stock Keeping the stores area organised and efficient WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experience in stores, warehouse, inventory or stock control Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, organised and proactive approach Comfortable using stock systems / ERP / Microsoft Office Experience with Business Central (desirable) Forklift or telehandler experience (desirable, not essential) WHY APPLY?
