We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Knowsley to assist with the appointment of a SEND Caseworker, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £24.00 - £31.82 per hour

Summary:

The SEND Caseworker – Education (Non-Qualified) role supports the SEND Service in a non case-holding capacity, focusing on Annual Reviews, EOTAS, and NEET. The role involves coordinating processes, liaising with schools, families, and professionals, and ensuring accurate records are maintained while meeting statutory deadlines.

Responsibilities:

* Support the coordination and processing of SEND annual reviews.
* Assist in managing EOTAS arrangements and monitoring education provision.
* Track and support young people who are NEET, ensuring appropriate education pathways are explored.
* Liaise with schools, parents/carers, education providers, and internal teams.
* Ensure accurate record keeping and data entry on SEND systems.

Essential Requirements:

* Experience working in an education, SEND, or local authority setting.
* Good understanding of SEND processes and education systems.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with professionals and families.
* Confident using databases and Microsoft Office systems.

* You should have right to work in U.K
