Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with support staff and families Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to support holistic development Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or a strong interest in SEN A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teacher, you should: Have the right to work in the UK Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years Have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education Please be advised that this role requires strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
