I am supporting a Global Specialist Pharmaceuticalpany looking for a Financial Accountant to join their growing team. Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
1. Contribute to the preparation of annual statutory financial statements for the group and its subsidiaries in accordance with UK IFRS, ensuring fullpliance with all relevant reporting standards.
2. Collaborate with external auditors throughout the audit process, responding to enquiries and facilitating the timely resolution of any issues raised.
3. Drive improvements in financial reporting processes and internal controls, supporting the manager’smitment to accuracy, efficiency, and regulatorypliance.
4. Provide support in tax-related activities, including VAT submissions, corporate tax calculations, and annual tax disclosures
5. Assisting with cash flow management
6. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
7. Assisting with ad hoc projects
What you'll need to succeed
My client is seeking a Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) ideally having started in practice and having 1-2 years' experience in the industry. Relevant sector or client exposure is ideal, as well as strong stock and distribution knowledge. You’ll have strong collaboration skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll get in return
