* £40,000 per annum
* Working an average of 45 hours per week (more in summer, fewer in winter)
* Being a key player in a passionate and creative kitchen team
Responsibilities as the Sous Chef...
* Supporting the Head Chef in leading a team of 3 to 4 chefs and additional freelancers in catering for up to 150 guests per event
* Helping to create and execute bespoke menus for over 180 weddings a year, using fresh, seasonal ingredients
* Showcasing open-fire cooking techniques, from succulent lamb chops and steaks to woodfire pizzas, burgers, and tacos
* Maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation while keeping kitchen operations running smoothly
