The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Business Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team based at our Coalville site. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong grounding in finance who is looking to build their experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Working closely with colleagues across operations, you'll support key financial processes, drive data accuracy, and contribute to continuous improvement across the business.

* Experienced in finance administration, with a strong understanding of data entry and transactional processes
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and confident with general IT systems
* Accurate, reliable, and comfortable working with large datasets
* Motivated to learn and progress within a finance team (apprenticeship/study support available)
* Ideally AAT qualified or part-qualified, or working towards a relevant finance qualification
* A team player with a flexible approach to shared office duties

Your Key Responsibilities
As Business Assistant Management Accountant, you will:
* Produce yield and operational reports by analysing production data, waste, and efficiency metrics to support cost control and operational improvement
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, delivering timely and accurate variance analysis and key performance reports
* Support financial administration including invoice coding, ledger maintenance, and routine month-end processes
* Assist with stock valuation and costing analysis, reviewing cost movements and ensuring accurate reporting of material usage and variances
* Work cross-functionally with site operations teams to help drive site performance
* Support the wider admin team by taking occasional calls and welcoming visitors when required
* Contribute to ad hoc finance and office tasks as necessary to ensure smooth operations
