Overview
A Civil Engineer within the design team on designated projects, that reports to the Director. Assist the Director with the commercial aspects of bidding and administering the project scope. To lead a team for the successful delivery of the day to day requirements of projects and deal directly with clients. Prepare and produce the necessary infrastructure design, specifications and drawings using AutoCAD and other proprietary design software to comply with the project and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
* Suitably qualified and experience in both the design of drainage and highways in order to satisfactorily fulfil the responsibilities.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
* Experience in drawing production in accordance with industry best practice.
* Practical understanding of civil engineering principles, discipline codes of practice and design guides.
* Working knowledge of software for highway design and ground modelling.
* Working knowledge of software to design and model new drainage systems including sustainable drainage.
* Advantageous but not essential Qualifications and Experience:
* A working knowledge of programming software
* An appropriate professional qualification
* Design of potable water supply structures.
* Experience in the design of waste management facilities.
