We are looking to recruit an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on the running of the depot clinic within the Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT), based in North East Lincolnshire.
You will be in charge of the day-to-day running of the onsite depot clinic and conducting home visits for patients requiring depots. You will lead efforts to improve how the depot clinic is delivered.

Main Duties of the Job
* Act as an independent practitioner within a community setting within the transformation CMHT/PCN alignments for service users in North East Lincolnshire, liaising with other professionals as necessary.
* Manage a caseload of clients prescribed IM medication, alongside a depot clinic nurse, and provide supervision as appropriate.
* Evaluate nursing care within agreed parameters, with knowledge of local, national policies, and legislation governing service provision and audits.
* Promote equality, diversity, and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation.
* Identify and contribute to training needs to ensure quality, evidence-based care.

Job Responsibilities
* Induction of new starters around the clinic and medication room.
* Complete medication management with newly qualified nurses.
* Support professional development as a Practice Educator.
* Order stock and medication, and conduct depot clinic audits.
* Maintain the medication and clinic rooms according to infection control policies.
* Attend monthly medication safety meetings.
* Liaise with pharmacy regarding audits and medication ordering.
* Follow shared care guidelines for prescribing antipsychotics, including health screening and side effect monitoring.
Person Specification
Knowledge
* Experience working with people of all ages.
* High level of knowledge in community mental health care for working-age adults.
* Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and understanding of AMHTs.
* Understanding of risk management, clinical governance, and legal responsibilities.
* Experience supervising staff and engaging in innovative practice.
* Experience as a key-worker or care coordinator.
* Participation in recruitment and selection processes.

Experience

Salary: £29,970 to £44,962 per year, depending on experience.
