Job Description
AP Clerk responsibilities:
8. Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
9. Maintain and update vendor accounts, addressing discrepancies as needed
10. Prepare payment runs and ensure timely disbursement of funds
11. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any outstanding balances
12. Assist with month-end closing processes, including reporting and documentation
13. Collaborate with internal departments to manage financial data effectively
14. Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function
The Successful Applicant
A successful AP Clerk should have:
15. A background in accounting or finance
16. Proficiency in financial software and strong numerical skills
17. Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
18. Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
