A reputable special school in Bexhill, East Sussex are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Administration Officer to support the School Business Manager in delivering high-quality financial and administrative services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process purchase and sales invoices, manage credit control, and liaise with suppliers
* Handle petty cash, banking, and monthly reconciliations
* Support payroll-related processes, payments, and financial reporting
* Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits and year-end procedures
* Prepare orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure best value procurement
* Support pupil placement costing and liaise with local authorities
* Provide general administrative support including data entry, correspondence, and reporting
* Ensure GDPR compliance and effective communication across the school community
About You:
* Strong financial/administrative experience with excellent attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Office and financial systems
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Committed to professional development and teamwork
* Willingness to learn Sign Supported English (SSE)
