You are a skilled and dedicated social worker with a qualification in Social Work, such as a Degree or DipSW. Registered with the Care Council for Wales, you are committed to achieving high professional standards and providing exemplary social work services. You demonstrate experience in multi-disciplinary settings, effectively manage complex cases, and are familiar with safeguarding procedures. Your approach is driven by the values of social work and a desire to support adults and their families in achieving positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Social Worker in Adult Services, you will deliver high‑quality social work services to adults and their families, ensuring their needs and desired outcomes are central to decision‑making processes. Your role includes working in partnership with various sectors to deliver integrated responses, conducting safeguarding investigations, carrying out assessments and preparing detailed reports, maintaining a specific caseload, working within statutory time‑scales, contributing to the development of the service, chairing meetings, providing mentorship and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

* Knowledge of the Social Services and Well‑being (Wales) Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005
