Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons for students
* Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
* Organise and supervise sports activities and competitions
* Ensure the safety and well-being of students during physical education classes
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Physical Education or related field
* Experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary school level
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
Experience:
* Minimum of 1 years of teaching experience in Physical Education
Knowledge and Skills:
* Thorough understanding of the national curriculum for Physical Education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate in physical activities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education or Physical Education
* Experience coaching sports teams
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily in a school setting
* Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments for sports events
* Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
