Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our team—someone who lives for the "live" environment and has a proven track record in the experiential/events sector.
As an Account Manager you will provide outstanding levels of client servicing to both new and established clients. You will get to work across delivering a variety of B2B and B2C experiential projects including high profile launch events, international motor shows, corporate hospitality events, employee engagement events and a lot more!
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
* Write accurate timely contact reports and briefs
* Support the collation of project briefs and briefing of internal teams
* Developing timelines, project proposals and running projects
* Support the creation of concise and well presented proposals
* Ensuring schedules are adhered to and project documentation is complete
* Work with resourcing team to plan wider resources effectively
* Maintain a close management of all aspects of your projects and escalations as needed
* Adhere to Imagination and ISO processes
* Ensure that all projects over £50K fees are issued with an Imagination Client Survey
* Should be able to travel internationally a number of times a year for extended periods of time
Financial / Commercial Management:
* Budget management support and development
* Develop commercial skills such as revenue planning and effective cost management
* Supplier and cost management and negotiation
Market knowledge:
* Understanding clients, competitors, market, suppliers, products and strategy
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Previous experience in events, exhibitions or brand experience within an agency environment
* Good interpersonal, presentation, relationship building and negotiation skills
* You take a hands‑on, proactive approach to managing projects, anticipating needs and challenges.
* You are skilled at identifying potential issues before they arise and can develop contingency plans to address them.
* You are adept at building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring smooth collaboration
* Experience and ability to manage small to mid scale budgets
* People management experience
