About the school:
The school is part of a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) comprising several SEND schools and provides some specialist provision within mainstream education. It is an alternative provision for boys aged 8–14 who have been permanently excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schools.
The school believes that with the right support for Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, children and young people can learn to change their behaviour, re-engage positively with learning, and prepare for life as successful citizens.
Using a trauma-informed approach, the school aims to provide a caring, supportive, and challenging environment where students can overcome barriers to learning and reintegrate into mainstream or other appropriate education settings.
The school offers a mix of day and residential placements, with boarding available for children with SEMH needs whose home environment may adversely affect their engagement with education.
Minimum requirements include:
* Teaching qualification with QTS / QTLS (essential)

* Knowledge of curriculum with ability to differentiate across ability levels
* Ability to maintain high-quality planning and recording
